Singles

Single Adults' Bible Study is held every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. at JMBC. We are currently studying the teachings of Christ found in the Gospels and learning how these ancient texts are still applicable to our lives today.

Women

Ladies Develop Their 'Muscles'
Recently, the ladies of Jackson Memorial gathered for the annual Women's Luncheon, which was hosted by the men of the church. Drawing from the theme "How to Develop Your Muscle," the women learned valuable insights for their health, spiritual life, and relationships.

A Men's Conference, "Man Camp," will be held at London Bridge Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, VA

Aug. 22, 6–9 p.m. & Aug. 23, 8 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Cost: $35 per person

Dr. Fred Luter, Jr., Pastor of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church in New Orleans
Shawn Harper, former NFL player for the Indianapolis Colts
Dr. Paige Patterson, President of Southwestern Seminary

Seniors

All JOY Group members who signed up for the Outer Banks Christmas Show on December 13, 2008 -- payment is due no later than September 1st, no exceptions! Reservation is not confirmed until payment is received.

No dinner will be held in September as we are having a day trip. We will resume our normal monthly dinner schedule on Thursday, October 2nd. More details about the menu, entertainment, etc. will follow in the church newsletter.
