JMBC Team Travels to West Africa

This spring, four Jackson Memorial Baptist Church members traveled to Niger in West Africa on a mission trip to minister in villages around the capital city of Niamey.  While there, the team encountered people living in poverty and spiritual darkness.

Their ministry there included sharing the Gospel message through the distribution of cassette tapes in local villages, handing out baby blankets donated by JMBC members, prayerwalking, and aiding with a medical clinic. Read their story...

Migrant Kit Items are being collected for Eastern Shore
Please bring the following items to the sanctuary foyer:

Priority Items: bath towels, sheets and pillowcases (very few clothes are needed!)

Ladies/Men: toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, deodorant, soap, shampoo, disposable razors, shaving cream, hand towels, and washcloths

Children: pencils, rulers, crayons (8 pk), toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, combs, bubbles (small bottles), coloring books, and children’s storybooks

Babies/Toddlers: baby wipes, bibs, baby powder, baby lotion/oil, baby bottles, Q-Tips, baby shampoo, baby toys/rattles, sippy cups; hair barrettes/bows, etc., small cars/trucks, stuffed animals, undershirts/onesies, disposable diapers, socks, small toys, new and gently used clothes for children, babies, and toddlers
